2. The short version

• This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools.
• Fonts and images are served from our own server. No data is sent to third parties such as Google when you visit.
• We only process personal data in two cases: in the server logs, and when you sign up for our free coloring page and emails.

3. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). The server is located in Germany.

For every request, the web server automatically logs: IP address, date and time, the page requested, amount of data transferred, status code, the referring page, and browser and operating system. This is technically necessary to run the website securely and to detect attacks. We also use these logs to create simple visitor statistics (such as which pages are visited and which sites visitors come from). IP addresses are shortened beforehand; the statistics do not identify individuals and are not shared with third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Logs are deleted automatically after 15 days at the latest.

4. Free coloring page and emails (MailerLite)

When you request the free coloring page, we process your email address, language, the page you signed up from (e.g. the book), and the time and IP address of your sign-up and confirmation. We use double opt-in: you first receive an email with a confirmation link. Only after you confirm are you subscribed and receive the download link.

After that, we occasionally email you about The Feelings Creatures, for example when a new book or new coloring pages come out. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to us. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. After you unsubscribe, we delete your address; to prove earlier consent we may keep it on a suppression list for up to three years (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We send emails with MailerLite, a service of UAB "MailerLite", J. Basanavičiaus 15, LT-03108 Vilnius, Lithuania. Your data is stored on MailerLite servers in the EU under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). MailerLite uses sub-processors, including providers in the USA; transfers are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. Details: mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy.

The sign-up form only sends your details to MailerLite when you submit it. No connection to MailerLite is made before that, and no MailerLite script is loaded.

MailerLite can record whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. We use this to see which content is useful. If you don't want this, please unsubscribe.

5. Links to Amazon

Our books are sold on Amazon. The links are plain links without affiliate or tracking IDs. No data is sent to Amazon until you click a link; from then on, Amazon's privacy policy applies.

6. Contact by email

If you email us, we process your details to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed and no statutory retention period applies.

7. Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

• access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
• rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17) and restriction of processing (Art. 18),
• data portability (Art. 20),
• object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21),
• withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).
